Spencer Hodge
Ranthambhore
The original painting of Spencer Hodge's Ranthambhore was sold at a charity auction and dinner in Monaco in the autumn of 2000, under the patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Rainier of Monaco, for the remarkable price of #21,000. The dinner, which was held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, was organised by Spencer Hodge as a result of his recent trip to India and, specifically, his visit to the Ranthambhore National Park, a nature reserve established in the magnificent jungles of central India to allow the endangered tigers of India a natural and protected environment in which to live. Rosenstiel's supported the event by producing a limited edition of the painting of 195 copies, which are signed by both the artist and by Vlamik Thaput from Ranthambhore. The Ranthambhore National Park benefits significantly from the publication of this limited edition print.
Limited Edition Print of 195 individually hand-numbered copies, each of which is signed by the artist.
