Family Portrait
This delightful painting is a portrait of a close family group of chimpanzees; the father is seen on the left and the mother on the right holding her baby. This scene was witnessed by the artist on safari in a forest clearing in Eastern Nigeria. Of all the apes, Chimpanzees most resemble Man. Both a tree-dwelling and a terrestrial animal, the standing adult male will measure 1.1-1.3 metres in height and weigh around 50kg.Limited Edition Print of 350 on paper individually hand-numbered copies, each of which is signed by the artist.
